Es van intercanviar comentaris, preguntes i cr\u00edtiques constructives durant les discussions, cosa que va ajudar a arribar a la conclusi\u00f3 general que <strong>el projecte FusionCAT est\u00e0 progressant b\u00e9 i segons all\u00f2 programat<\/strong>. Cadascun dels grups del consorci va aconseguir els objectius t\u00e8cnics acordats i alhora va participar en la creaci\u00f3 d&#8217;una comunitat activa de fusi\u00f3 nuclear a Catalunya.<\/p>\n<div class=\"FFpbKc\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"dePhmb\">\n<div class=\"eyKpYb\" data-language=\"ca\" data-original-language=\"es\" data-result-index=\"0\">\n<div class=\"J0lOec\"><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"ca\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"ca\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"es\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\"><strong>FusionCAT<\/strong> \u00e9s un projecte col\u00b7laboratiu finan\u00e7at per la UE que t\u00e9 com a objectiu impulsar el sector emergent de la fusi\u00f3 nuclear a Catalunya, tot combinant el coneixement, els recursos i l&#8217;esfor\u00e7 de diverses institucions. Es tracta d&#8217;un consorci format per <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.btec.cat\/es\/fundacion-b_tec\">b_TEC Campus Diagonal-Bes\u00f2s<\/a> (BTEC), <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/eurecat\/\">Technology Centre of Catalonia<\/a> (EURECAT), Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC),<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iqs.edu\/en\"> Chemical Institute of Sarri\u00e0<\/a> (IQS), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irec.cat\/\">Catalonia Institute for Energy Research<\/a> (IREC), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upc.edu\/\">Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya<\/a> (UPC) and<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bsc.es\/\"><strong>Barcelona Supercomputing Center<\/strong><\/a> (BSC), com a coordinador del projecte i organitzador de la <strong>Reuni\u00f3 Anual FusionCAT 2021<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>La reuni\u00f3 es va dur a terme telem\u00e0ticament a trav\u00e9s de Zoom i va comen\u00e7ar amb la benvinguda de la <strong>investigadora ICREA, coordinadora de FusionCAT i l\u00edder del Grup Fusion del BSC, la professora Mervi Mantsinen<\/strong>. Aix\u00f2 va ser seguit per una breu ronda de presentacions dels participants, una <strong>descripci\u00f3 general de l&#8217;estat actual del projecte per part de la Sra. Alba Abia, Gestora de Projectes de Recerca del BSC<\/strong>, amb not\u00edcies sobre l&#8217;extensi\u00f3 del projecte fins a finals del 2022, seguit de la <strong>presentaci\u00f3 dels treballs realitzats per difondre el projecte i una presentaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;estat de les activitats de transfer\u00e8ncia de tecnologia pel Dr. Joan Farn\u00f3s (BSC)<\/strong>, que va destacar la import\u00e0ncia de la divulgaci\u00f3 per atraure el sector industrial. Posteriorment, la trobada es va dividir en tres sessions consecutives corresponents als principals <strong>projectes de recerca FusionCAT (P1, P2 i P3)<\/strong>. Cadasc\u00fa, al seu torn, es va dividir en <strong>diverses xerrades corresponents a les seves diferents tasques<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>P1: Cap al modelatge integrat de reactors de fusi\u00f3 total<\/h2>\n<p>La <strong>primera sessi\u00f3 del projecte, P1<\/strong>, va estar presidida pel <strong>Sr. Jordi Manyer<\/strong> (BSC). Cada orador disposava de 10 minuts per a una presentaci\u00f3, seguits de 5 minuts per a preguntes. El <strong>Dr. Pedro Bonilla<\/strong> (BSC) va iniciar les presentacions amb una xerrada sobre el Desenvolupament de capacitats de simulaci\u00f3 d&#8217;HPC multif\u00edsica de fusi\u00f3, durant la qual va assenyalar una nova col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 en curs amb el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kit.edu\/english\/\"><strong>Karlsruhe Institute of Technology<\/strong><\/a> (KIT). El va seguir el <strong>Dr. Dani Gallart<\/strong> (BSC) sobre l&#8217;avaluaci\u00f3 experimental i la validaci\u00f3 de codis de simulaci\u00f3 de fusi\u00f3, i el <strong>Prof. Llu\u00eds Batet<\/strong> (UPC ANT) va ampliar el mateix tema. El Dr. Gallart va assenyalar les millores a l&#8217;operador del coeficient de difusi\u00f3 dins del codi PION, reproduint millor els resultats experimentals, mentre que el Prof. Batet va parlar sobre la creaci\u00f3 de dades utilitzant OpenFOAM per entrenar una xarxa neuronal. Finalment, el <strong>Sr. Tom\u00e1s Bensad\u00f3n<\/strong> (BSC) va parlar sobre la integraci\u00f3 de PION amb l&#8217;European Transport Solver (ETS) dins de l&#8217;ITER Integrated Modeling and Analysis Suite (IMAS). The following speaker, <strong>Dr Jordi Abell\u00e0 <\/strong>(IQS), talked about the development of tritium and lithium sensors and fabrication of PbLi alloy. Thereafter,<strong> Dr Xavier Trias<\/strong> (UPC CTTC) and <strong>Mr Ronny Rives <\/strong>(UPC-ANT) discussed high-fidelity CFD simulation of liquid metal flows. They discussed the scaling of their models on 3 different supercomputers, Marenostrum (BSC) being one of them. <strong>Dr Xavier Vendrell<\/strong> (UPC-NEMEN) gave a presentation on the catalytic membrane reactors for hydrogen isotope recovery and fuel clean-up systems.<\/p>\n<p>El <strong>Dr. Alejandro Soba<\/strong> (CONICET) <strong>va presidir la sessi\u00f3 sobre P2<\/strong>. La primera xerrada, sobre el desenvolupament de models de transport de neutrons deterministes d&#8217;alta fidelitat, va anar a c\u00e0rrec del <strong>Dr. Ezequiel Goldberg<\/strong> (BSC), que va explicar els aven\u00e7os que s&#8217;han aconseguit amb el m\u00f2dul de neutr\u00f2nics Alya NEUTRO. El seg\u00fcent ponent, el <strong>Dr. Jordi Abell\u00e0<\/strong> (IQS), va parlar sobre el desenvolupament de sensors de triti i liti i la fabricaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;aliatge PbLi. Posteriorment, el <strong>Dr. Xavier Trias<\/strong> (UPC CTTC) i el <strong>Sr. Ronny Rives<\/strong> (UPC-ANT) van comentar la simulaci\u00f3 CFD d&#8217;alta fidelitat de fluxos de metalls l\u00edquids. Tamb\u00e9 es va parlar de l&#8217;escala dels seus models en 3 supercomputadores diferents, essent Marenostrum (BSC) una. Thereafter, <strong>Mr Pau M\u00e1rquez<\/strong> talked about the dynamic modelling of supercritical CO2 power cycles for fusion nuclear power plants aimed at the design of Control Systems. <strong>Dr Julio Guti\u00e9rrez<\/strong> (BSC) closed the presentations with a talk on large-scale modelling of fusion materials.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La sessi\u00f3 sobre P3<\/strong>, presidida pel <strong>Dr. Xavier S\u00e1ez<\/strong> (BSC), va comen\u00e7ar amb presentacions sobre el desenvolupament d&#8217;imants HTS a c\u00e0rrec del <strong>Sr. Oriol Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> (BSC) i el <strong>Sr.Neil Lamas<\/strong> (ICMAB), seguides de presentacions de modelatge, an\u00e0lisi i disseny de components d&#8217;acceleradors per a instal\u00b7lacions de recerca de materials de fusi\u00f3 pel <strong>Sr. Bipin Kumar<\/strong> (IREC), la <strong>Sra. Posteriorment, el <strong>Sr. Pau M\u00e1rquez<\/strong> va parlar sobre el modelatge din\u00e0mic de cicles de pot\u00e8ncia de CO2 supercr\u00edtic per a centrals nuclears de fusi\u00f3 orientat al disseny de Sistemes de Control. In the end, the PIs concluded that the project has evolved nicely from last year and encouraged the members to continue in this direction.<\/p>\n<p>Finalment, es van assignar 40 minuts m\u00e9s perqu\u00e8 els participants mantinguessin un debat general. El <strong>Prof. Batet<\/strong> va assenyalar que per a la propera convocat\u00f2ria del projecte haur\u00edem de comen\u00e7ar a pensar en DEMO, no nom\u00e9s en ITER, i el <strong>Dr. Campbell<\/strong> va dir que cal fer un esfor\u00e7 per atraure empreses al projecte DEMO, ja que no \u00e9s tan atractiu al tractar-se d&#8217;un projecte de llarga durada.
